High performance laser scanner

The latest generation of scanCONTROL 30xx laser profile scanners is extremely powerful and precise while offering individual adaption possibilities. Laser scanners are known for extremely high precision and provide calibrated profile data with around 5.5 million points per second while detecting up to 2048 measuring positions per profile. Available with measuring ranges of 25 mm and 50 mm, they are used for high precision 2D/3D profile measurements in automation, production and process monitoring, as well as quality control. The innovative range of products is impressive with different performance classes and operating modes which allow the sensors to be easily adapted to individual measurement tasks.
Red and blue laser
In addition to the red laser, Blue Laser Technology is available for demanding surfaces. Micro-Epsilon holds a patent for measurements with blue lasers on red-hot glowing objects exceeding 700 °C and (semi-)transparent objects. Transparent objects include plastics, glass, adhesives, silicones, paints, coatings, Plexiglas and seals. For many measurement tasks, Blue Laser scanners offer crucial advantages compared to sensors with a red laser diode. Onto organic, glowing materials or semi-transparent objects, the blue laser line is sharply imaged which enables stable and precise results.
High dynamic range mode
Even on inhomogeneous and dark surfaces, the scanCONTROL 30xx still provides accurate results. This is made possible by the innovative High Dynamic Range mode combined with enhanced auto exposure. The different exposures are performed simultaneously which is why even moving objects are detected reliably.
Gateway II now available with pre-programming
Using the scanCONTROL Gateway, you can transmit the measurement values via different interfaces. Combined with a SMART sensor, the measurement results can be output via Ethernet, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP or EtherCAT. Benefit from the service of pre-programming and simplify setup. You get a customized gateway configured to your requirements and your IP address, which makes it immediately ready for use. In addition, you receive a backup of your configuration.
