New C-Box/2A: conversion and evaluation of digital sensor signals
2017-01-19
Fast conversion of digital sensor signals to analog values has been optimized by the new, compact C-Box/2A electronics, which enable a D/A conversion of two digital input signals obtained from the optoNCDT 2300 high performance laser sensors. In addition, individual measurements can be evaluated synchronously. Thickness, diameter, tilt angle, steps and inclinations can now be calculated directly and either output as digital or analog values.
Output of the sensor signals is possible via two configurable analog outputs, Ethernet or USB. Handling of the C-Box/2A and of the connected sensor is performed via a web interface. Averaging functions, thickness, diameter, steps and inclinations can be calculated. The D/A conversion is executed at 16 Bit and max. 70 kHz.
Special features:
- Automatic sensor recognition
- Inputs: 2 x RS422 input for sensors, digital input for mastering the measured values, trigger input
- Measurement value output via Ethernet, USB or analog, 2 x analog output (scalable), current output 4 - 20 mA, voltage output 0 - 5 V, 0 - 10 V, ±5 V, ±10 V
- 2x switching outputs for sensors or C-Box/2A status
